Academy of culinary traditions of western Liguria
Local cuisine and typical products
The aim of the Academy is to protect and enhance the importance, in local cuisine, of typical products of our area, in particular oil, wine, agri-food and fishery products.
The Academy proposes:
- The disclosure in Italy and abroad, with the participation in conferences and fairs for promotional purposes, of the work done by the Academy in favor of the territory;
- The realization of events;The care of editing and publication of the the activities of the Academy;
- The development of a circuit of restaurateurs, hoteliers, traders, agricultural producers, fishermen and craftsmen who propose to their clients the typical dishes and products of the tradition;
- The defense in the face of abuses, by observing a good interpretation and developing food and wine tourism in Liguria;
- The kitchen school;
- Professional training.
