The Diano station is a railway stop located on the Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line. Partly located in the municipal territory of Diano San Pietro and partly in that of Diano Castello, also serves the neighboring town of Diano Marina and all the municipalities of the Gulf of Diano Marina, replacing the old railway station of Diano Marina on the original single-track route, simultaneously suppressed.

The station, which has two tracks (one in each direction), was activated on 11 December 2016, simultaneously with the new double track Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line.

The station is served by regional trains carried by Trenitalia under the service contract with the Liguria Region, by some Intercity Milano-Ventimiglia and Thello trains. Outside the station there is a taxi service (tel. 0183 495210) and the Shuttle Bus (Riviera Transportation) to the city center of Diano Marina (timetable http://turismo.dianomarina.gov.it/en/informazioni/bus-navetta) . Outside, there is a free parking.
