The pier goes forward in the sea, extending the central square of the seafront promenade. At the extreme point, between the palms, the statue of Christopher Columbus.

From here there is a wide view of the entire Gulf of Diano, the beautiful beaches and the green hills of olive trees and vineyards that surround it.
