Villa Scarsella
The building is located in the city center a few meters from the central Piazza Martiri della Libertà (Piazza del Comune) and is one of the few buildings surviving the violent earthquake that struck Diano Marina in 1887. Built in the 16th century along the road leading to Diano Castle, in the past housed an ancient convent of the Dominican brothers.
It has a large garden at its outside, where at present, during the summer, there are numerous events, and two basketball and volleyball outdoor playgrounds.
