Palazzo Maglione
Palazzo Maglione is located in the central Piazza Martiri della Libertà and was built in the 19th century. The ancient residence of Baron Roggeri was restored in 1881 to give way to the City Hall, Schools and the Pretura.
On the top of the facade overlooking the square is visible the relief of the Communitas Diani symbol, which is also the official coat of arms of the Commune representing a crown griffon on a blue background with a crown above the head.
Currently the palace belongs to the Commune and stands amongst beautiful palm trees alongside the present Municipal Palace and hosts the headquarters of the Municipal Police Command, some Municipal Offices and those of the Municipality Municipal Management (Municipal Company).
