Forte Sant'Elmo
The Forte Sant'Elmo is atop the Berta sea, immersed in a huge garden that winds through pebble slopes that descend to the sea.In the park you can also admire some rare species of native and exotic plants, the result of years of intense work.
The origins of this villa are quite ancient, since between the end of 1500 and the beginning of 1600, in order to cope with pirate raids, many coastal towers were built to defend the territory. The tower Sant'Elmo, also known as the tower of Sant'Erasmo, the sailor's protector, occupied a strategic position for embarking and disembarking the galley, a type of warship and trade used for over three thousand years in the Mediterranean.
In the outskirts of the tower a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea allows you to enjoy one of the most impressive and unusual panoramas from one end to the other in the Gulf of Diano.
The reservation is welcome for the visit.
